A cars engine is the heart of the vehicle, it is the main component that makes it drive. It consists of many moving parts that require lubrication to avoid any excess wear and potentially damage to the engine. Over time the oil that lubricates your engine breaks down and becomes contaminated with debris from your engine, along with dirt and dust that can be brought in from the outside environment. An oil filter is a part of all vehicles and helps remove these contaminants. However, if left un-maintained, the contaminates can build up and cause you potential problems in the future. That is why servicing and maintenance of your vehicle is essential for its longevity.
Servicing and maintenance of your vehicle consist of disposing of the old and contaminated oils in your engine, along with an oil filter replacement. Ensuring that there is no build-up of contaminates and increasing the longevity of your vehicle. All work is to be carried out by fully qualified service technicians, using only quality oils and filters.

What is an e-safety check or pink slip inspection?
E-safety check or pink slip inspection is an inspection report which is required by NSW RMS in order for you to register your car in NSW. This inspection is usually required if your vehicle is older than 5 years. You can find out if an e-safety inspection is required on your registration renewal papers, additionally the details can be found online when you log into your service NSW account.
The inspection report verifies your vehicle is safe and ready for the road. All inspections are carried out by NSW Road and Maritime Services Authorised Safety Check Inspection Scheme (RMS ASCIS) Examiners at authorised inspection stations.
An e-safety inspection additionally, can be carried out when you are looking to buy or sell a vehicle. It allows buyers and sellers to have peace of mind, so they do not get blindsided when it comes to the time of renewing registration.
What happens if the vehicle fails the inspection?
If your vehicle fails the inspection a Repairs needed report will be issued, and you will have 14 days to correct any issues. If the 14 days pass, you will be required to pay for a new e-safety inspection. However, if the repairs are carried out and you return to the same safety station, there will be no additional charge for inspection. Luckily, our team at Eurotech can offer help for any repairs needed to pass the inspection.
